Observe work area to inspect and to evaluate orchid, soil, and temperature conditions. Coordinate all departments and assign work schedules and duties to nursery or greenhouse staff, and supervise their work. Hire, fire, and discipline greenhouse team members as well as management personnel. Analyze information and evaluate result to choose the best solution and solve problems. Ensure greenhouse policy and operational goals are met. Explain and enforce safety regulations and policies. Coordinate clerical, recordkeeping, inventory, requisitioning, and marketing activities. Provide proper information (such as the shape, color, patterns, and size of the bloom) accordingly to tailor marketing content to fit the unique needs of the customers.
