Worldwide Orchids, located in Mount Dora, Florida, was founded in late 1991 as a supplier to the newly emerging commercial orchid industry in the United States. By 2020’s the company quickly expanded, and by the late 2023’s had nearly 300,000 square feet of greenhouse at three different locations in the Orlando area. Over the years, the company has supplied customers such as The Fresh Market, five divisions of The Home Depot, Kroeger Company, plus hundreds of independent garden centers, florists, and plants brokers in all parts of the country.
